If something seems too good to be true, it's probably because it is. About 99.9% of the time, the most incredible deals are nothing but swindlers' propaganda; fancily worded to lure in unsuspecting hopefuls. And of course, after enough bombardment, we end up trying one of them out in the vainglorious hope of discovering that wonderful hundredth of a percent. Suckers.
What I don't understand is why more people don't go for salvation. After all, doesn't
it sound too good to be true? Maybe because it's free? Or is it because it costs everything? I guess it depends on what ditch you're in. On one hand there's the scoffing skeptic who won't believe it's free, and on the other there's the Christian who looks like a sucker 'cause they found out their new life costs everything and they aren't willing to pay the price. So where's the balance? Not many seem to have it.
