Society is in free fall: accelerating at 10 m/s². I'm talking about moral gravitation. It seems to be a law we're unable to escape. Ever since we took the fatal plunge we've been falling. It won't be long until we hit terminal velocity. What fools who claim that society is getting better! Fools, or else blind. Has time improved human nature? That idea spawned from Charley Darwin's backward philosophy. Take a look around. People today are just as barbaric as the cudgel-wielding ancients, if not more so. Human nature is opportunistic. The same spirit that actuated the inquisition, communism, and totalitarian dictatorships lurks in every unconverted heart. There doesn't seem to be any sign of improvement either. 2 Timothy 3:13 warns that evil men will continue to get worse and worse. Moral gravitation if you will.
