On the graveyard shift again. More gold for me. Only not so much tonight. Traffic has been significantly heavier than usual, as has the noise. Maybe it's typical of the weekend. Or maybe it's just all the highschoolers here for the tournaments. Either way, it's all good. It's not like I'm complaining or anything. The noise should help me stay awake. Anyhow, while I'm rambling, I might as well do a thorough job of it. Hope you all had a splendid Sabbath and Valentines day -- kept from getting shot and such. I never have liked the character Cupid -- the chubby little cherub flitting about in a loincloth taking potshots at people. How precious! Not. Bad mythology...not a good analogy for falling in love. But then what is?
Speaking of Valentines, can someone please tell me the point of an anonymous valentine? I learned in speech class that suspense makes a great hook of an opener -- maybe that would explain it? That's the only thing I could think of.
They say never to go off on tangents, which are lines that intersect a circle at exactly one point which were discovered by Euclid, who lived in the 6th century, which was an era dominated by the Goths, who lived in what we now know as Poland... If I keep going long enough I might come full circle...Nevermind. I'll quit. Hopefully before you do.
